Forty-seven companies from Wuxi National Hi-Tech District (WND) are showcasing their latest products and solutions at the 140th China Import and Export Fair, held in Guangzhou, Guangdong province, from Oct 15 to Nov 4.
Occupying 90 booths, the companies span a wide range of sectors, including robotics, hardware tools, motorcycles and bicycles, and home goods. Such diversity highlights the breadth of WND's manufacturing capabilities and its drive to bring innovative products to global markets.
For Phoenix Art Materials, a long-standing exhibitor at the Canton Fair, this year marks its 67th appearance. The company has grown from a single standard booth to a branded exhibition area spanning 14 booths, reflecting its continued product development and international expansion.
"We have assembled a team of 17 for this year's fair and are presenting nearly 540 products," said the person in charge of the company's booth. The range covers art supplies for professional artists, hobbyists and children, including canvases and frames, paints and brushes, and creative DIY kits.
NCVI, one of China's early entrants into the market for small appliances designed for mothers and babies, is showcasing products that combine practical functionality with smart technology. Its new bottle washer adds UV sterilization to its washing, steam-cleaning and drying functions.
Meanwhile, the company's double breast pump combines hands-free pumping with heating and massage features, while AI-powered memory technology helps tailor the experience to users' needs.
Wuxi VaySunic New Energy Technology is presenting an integrated suite of solutions covering microinverters, residential energy storage, electric vehicle charging and intelligent energy management. Together, these offerings demonstrate the company's capabilities across the energy value chain.
These companies' presence at the fair comes amid strong growth in WND's foreign trade. From January to August, WND recorded 423.8 billion yuan ($63.36 billion) in imports and exports, up 44 percent year-on-year. In August alone, the total reached 67.7 billion yuan, setting a new monthly record.
