Wuxi National Hi-Tech District (WND) has signed a strategic cooperation agreement with Readers magazine to expand opportunities in the cultural industry, spanning copyright, merchandise, and educational travel experiences.
The agreement was signed on Oct 13 at the Bodu River Cultural Center.
Readers Cultural Space is set to open in the near future. Combining public cultural services with consumer experiences, the venue will feature retail, dining and events, bringing together books, cultural products, social activities, exhibitions and educational programs. It is designed to serve as a cultural destination for children and young people, as well as a shared community space for residents.

Wang Tiejun, president of Readers magazine, said WND and Readers will use the cultural space as a platform to open up copyright resources and industry networks to local small and medium-sized creative businesses and grassroots cultural organizations, helping them develop new products and partnerships.
WND has continued to strengthen its cultural industry ecosystem this year, signing agreements for more than 30 major projects.
