Semiconductor industry leaders gather in Wuxi

The 14th CEPEA Semiconductor Equipment Annual Conference opened in Wuxi on Sept 1, bringing together more than 2,000 industry leaders, business representatives and other guests from across China's semiconductor sector.

The conference featured a high-level forum, an exhibition and more than 20 specialized sessions, with discussions spanning the full semiconductor equipment supply chain. Industry experts and companies shared the latest technologies, assessed shifting market demand and explored strategies for the sector's future development. The event also served as a platform for technology exchange, business partnerships and investment cooperation.

Running alongside the conference, CSEAC 2026 – the 14th Semiconductor Equipment, Materials and Core Parts Exhibition – brought together more than 1,300 exhibitors from China and abroad. The exhibition attracted over 120,000 visitors, marking a surge in industry attention.

A total of 81 companies from Wuxi National Hi-Tech District (WND) took part, with several local semiconductor equipment makers introducing major new products and technologies. The strong showing underscored WND's growing presence across the semiconductor equipment and advanced manufacturing value chain.
