The Wuxi Symphony Orchestra celebrated its third anniversary from June 18 to 21 with a series of high-caliber performances, offering audiences a sensational experience of musical artistry and reaffirming its growing role in the city's cultural life.
The anniversary program featured concerts of varying styles. The festivities opened on June 18 with a star-studded symphonic concert. Renowned conductor and composer Tan Dun joined acclaimed pianist Chen Sa and the orchestra to present Nightingale & Firework, delivering a powerful and imaginative musical experience.

On the afternoon of June 20, the orchestra shifted to a more intimate setting with a chamber concert. Blending elegance with relaxation, the performance invited audiences to slow down and savor the beauty of live music. The soothing melodies provided a welcome retreat from the bustle of daily life.
The celebrations reached their climax on the evening of June 21. Under the baton of young conductor Chen Yanlin, the orchestra joined forces with soprano Tian Siying and the orchestra's associate concertmaster Lyu Wei to present a program that seamlessly blended beloved classics with popular favorites.
