Wuxi Xinghua Henghui Technology, a high-tech company specializing in infrared semiconductor chips and infrared photoelectric detection, has grown rapidly since setting up operations in Wuxi National Hi-Tech District (WND) in October 2020.
The company completed a 1,000-square-meter cleanroom and launched a production line with an annual capacity of 300 units by the end of 2020, laying a solid foundation for its development in the infrared semiconductor sector.
Xinghua Henghui now has nearly 100 employees, with research and development staff accounting for 58.4 percent of its workforce. The company has also established close partnerships with leading universities, including Zhejiang University and Changchun University of Science and Technology, to strengthen its innovation capacity.
To date, the company has secured more than 50 intellectual property rights, forming a comprehensive IP portfolio that covers materials, devices, modules and systems.
In 2024, Xinghua Henghui launched the second phase of its development. It has since completed a 15,000-square-meter research and production base, including a 4,000-square-meter top-tier cleanroom equipped with more than 500 advanced pieces of equipment.

The new base has enabled the company to build internationally advanced production lines for infrared detectors and imaging cores, achieving full-process in-house control from chip manufacturing to module assembly. The upgrade is expected better to meet the growing demand in the high-end infrared market.
In 2025, the company posted revenue of nearly 120 million yuan ($17.49 million) and reached a valuation of 762 million yuan, highlighting its strong growth momentum in the fast-evolving infrared technology industry.
