Senior representatives from nearly 40 globally recognized multinational companies, business associations and investment promotion organizations recently visited Wuxi National Hi-Tech District (WND) to explore its industrial strengths, innovation ecosystem and future cooperation opportunities.
The visiting delegation included executives from organizations such as Lippo Group, Valmet, Peikko, Korea International Trade Association, Hong Kong Trade Development Council and the American Chamber of Commerce in Shanghai.
The group's first stop was the WND Exhibition Center, where they were introduced to the district's development journey as one of China's leading high-tech zones. Guests learned about the district's progress in key industries, including the internet of things, integrated circuits and biomedicine.
The delegation then visited the AstraZeneca China Healthcare IoT Innovation Center. Since opening in 2017, the center has worked with more than 300 partners to incubate 14 disease management solutions across respiratory care, cardiovascular disease, metabolic disorders and oncology.
During the visit, guests observed a range of real-world healthcare innovation scenarios, including an intelligent nebulization center, a standardized metabolic disease management center and a lung cancer diagnosis and treatment center. AstraZeneca's leadership in health innovation left a strong impression on many of the participants.

The final stop of the tour was the Wuxi Artificial Intelligence Industrial Park, where visitors learned about AI-driven manufacturing solutions developed by leading companies such as iFlytek, HopeRun, AMD and LongShine.
Guests also showed strong interest in the park's new initiative, which aims to collect 1,000 AI transformation needs from companies and create 1,000 AI solutions. Several delegates engaged in on-site discussions about potential future cooperation.
