WND IoT industry scale

As of 2015, some 1,000 IoT-based technology companies and related service providers have settled in WND. WND’s IoT industry brings in an annual output value of approximately 100 billion yuan ($14.49 billion), accounting for 59 percent of the total IoT industry output in Wuxi, and has maintained a growth rate of over 30 percent for a consecutive five years.

20 IoT companies have debuted on the Growth Enterprises Market or New Third Board (the pilot national share transfer system for small and medium-sized enterprises, including Wuxi WSN Group, LongShine Technology, Memsic and Tian-Net).

As of the first half of 2016, a total of 105 IoT companies have been listed on the multilevel capital market, including 15 domestic and internationally listed companies and 50 New Third Board listed companies. 13 companies were listed on the New Third Board within six months, demonstrating an average rate of a new company listed every half month.
