"The IoT industry has a very promising future involving various fields, and Wuxi has the potential and edge to develop IoT. First, Wuxi is a medium-sized city, unlike the first-tier cities, like Shanghai, it has good control of its city size, and new projects of IoT can be applied to people’s daily life soon after successful experiments in labs. IoT-based pilotless automobiles and smart communities are good examples. Secondly, Wuxi is located in the Yangtze River Delta, the richest and most inhabited area of China. The city can easily absorb elites and talent nationwide, and form a cluster of human resources with top skills in the IoT industry, which is a good chance for Wuxi to develop emerging industries and modern technology."
