The Wuxi Institute for Special Foods and Health (WISH) and Ausnutria, a dairy enterprise, signed a cooperation agreement on Aug 5. Combining the institute's R&D expertise with the company's manufacturing and distribution strengths, the partnership will accelerate the commercialization of innovative products, including high-quality probiotics, and bring them to consumers across China.

Jiangsu Leadchem Semiconductor Technology celebrated the completion of its new facility on Aug 5. Backed by a total investment of 520 million yuan ($77.05 million), the 40,000-square-meter factory is expected to begin operations in Q3. Once fully operational, it will have an annual production capacity of 50,000 units of high-purity storage and transport equipment for semiconductor materials, with projected annual sales exceeding 1 billion yuan.

WND convened an enlarged meeting of its safe production committee on Aug 4 to review workplace safety performance in the first half of the year and outline priorities for the months ahead. Caterpillar opened the Phase V expansion of its China R&D Center in WND on Aug 7.
