  • WND held a conference to advance the high-quality development of its specialty industrial parks on June 16, implementing the municipal Party committee and government’s decisions on this front. The meeting aimed to further strengthen the branding of these parks, provide support and impetus for building a more competitive "6+2+X" modern industrial cluster and for cultivating new quality productive forces tailored to local conditions.

  • Tradition met adventure on the Bodu River in WND on June 13, where more than 400 participants from local companies and international schools competed in dragon boat racing, kayaking and paddleboarding. The event added extra energy and festive spirit to the  Dragon Boat Festival.

  • South Korean expats in WND came together on June 17, ahead of the Dragon Boat Festival, for a cultural journey through some of the district's iconic landmarks. From the melodies of traditional Chinese folk music to classic games, handcrafted sachets and hands-on zongzi making, the gathering offered a chance to deepen mutual understanding and strengthen ties.

  • WND officials conducted on-site inspections of senior high school entrance exam centers on June 15. The inspection focused on strengthening coordination across organization, safety, and student services. Officials stressed the need for precise management and attentive support to ensure a safe, orderly, and smooth exam process.

  • Senasic Electronics Technology, a WND company, debuted on the Main Board of the Hong Kong Stock Exchange on June 17, becoming the first listed company in the field of physical AI edge wireless intelligent chips. The IPO saw the issuance of 53.407 million H shares at HK$18.36 ($2.34) per share, raising nearly HK$1 billion in total.

  • Six satellites developed by Jiangsu Guoyu Star Technology in WND, a subsidiary of MinoSpace, rolled off the production line and were prepared for launch into space on June 13. This marks a new stage for Wuxi's commercial aerospace sector, as satellite manufacturing moves to a more standardized, batch-based model.

  • WND XR company XREAL launched its next-generation spatial computing glasses, XREAL AURA, opening global pre-orders on June 16 (local time in Long Beach, California). Co-developed with Google and Qualcomm, AURA is the first lightweight consumer device based on the Android XR platform. Within 10 hours of launch, paid pre-orders exceeded 2,000 units, reflecting WND's growing presence in the XR ecosystem.

  • A WND delegation visited the 2026 Yangtze River Delta Robotics & Automation Expo and Wuxi Embodied AI Robot Industry Conference on June 11. The visit focused on exploring cutting-edge developments and strengthening project matchmaking and cooperation discussions.

  • WND-backed Shang Capital  recently added two more companies to its growing portfolio of IPO-approved firms. AI chip company Enflame Technology passed its review by the Shanghai Stock Exchange, while CanSemi Technology, the only Chinese mainland company capable of mass-producing 12-inch silicon photonics wafers, passed a review by the Shenzhen Stock Exchange.

  • Leading PCB manufacturer Shennan Circuits has announced plans to issue shares to targeted investors, aiming to raise up to 4.882 billion yuan ($721.47 million). The proceeds will be used to fund its AI computing electronics project in WND and supplement working capital. The project, with a construction period of one year, will focus on producing high-speed, high-density, and high-layer-count PCBs for applications such as AI servers and network switches.

  • WND company Autolink has submitted an application for a Main Board listing in Hong Kong. The company has received multiple rounds of investment from WND-backed funds over time, underscoring continued local capital support for its development in the intelligent connected vehicle sector.

  • As night falls, the Wuxi Symphony Hall becomes a luminous landmark, while the nearby Emerald River pedestrian bridge comes alive with immersive light-and-shadow effects. The 250-meter double-deck steel structure is more than a crossing. It also functions as an elevated viewing deck and adds a dynamic layer to WND's nighttime identity.

  • Wuxi MixC's west zone entered trial operation on June 18, quickly becoming a popular new lifestyle destination. Located by Lihu Lake, the complex brings together dining, shopping, leisure, and entertainment, featuring diverse regional cuisines and multiple debut stores.
