Wuxi's luggage delivery service eases burden for tourists

To enhance convenience for visitors in Wuxi, local authorities have partnered with local airport, railway station, Wuxi Metro, scenic spots, hotels, and JD Express to provide luggage storage and delivery services.

This service is currently in a pilot phase at Wuxi Shuofang Airport, railway stations, certain scenic spots, and star-rated hotels, with intentions to progressively broaden its scope.

Tourists checking out of a hotel can easily book luggage delivery by scanning a code at the front desk of a JD Express partner hotel. They are then free to continue their journey or explore local sights. Likewise, while visiting attractions, cultural sites, airports, railway stations, and metro stations, travelers can conveniently scan a code to access the delivery service.

JD Express couriers will quickly collect the luggage and deliver it to the specified smart locker for the tourist. After sightseeing, tourists can pick up their luggage directly from the locker at the airport or railway station using a code. Soon, the service will also enable sending luggage from the airport or railway station to a designated locker, giving tourists the convenience of traveling without their luggage.
