Han Jin-Kyu, president of the Asia-Pacific region for Germany's Vibracoustic, visited Wuxi National Hi-tech District (WND) on June 12 to discuss progress on the company's air spring project.
Vibracoustic (Wuxi) Vibration Isolators, established in 2004, is the group's only independent legal entity in Wuxi and a leading player in automotive noise and vibration control. Its major clients include top passenger vehicle brands such as Nissan, Renault, Li Auto, XPeng, and Volkswagen. The company holds a global market share exceeding 20 percent.
The Wuxi air spring project has a total investment of 300 million yuan ($41.77 million) and will include the construction of six production lines. The first line has already reached full production capacity, while construction on the second is about to begin. Once fully operational, the project is expected to generate over 1.2 billion yuan in sales revenue.
Han expressed his gratitude for the strong support from WND, highlighting the area's rich pool of skilled technical and managerial talent. He noted that Wuxi serves as Vibracoustic's Asia-Pacific regional operation headquarters, and the Wuxi plant has been awarded the group's Best Operation Award for three consecutive years, reflecting the company's high regard for its development in the city.
