  • The CPC Wuxi National Hi-Tech District Working Committee (Enlarged) Meeting and the 10th Plenary Session of the 2nd CPC Xinwu District Committee were held on June 6, calling on the entire district to shoulder its responsibilities with greater commitment and more concrete actions, while also making greater contributions to the broader development of Wuxi, Jiangsu province, and the nation as a whole.

  • Senior executives from CF PharmTech visited WND on June 3. The company has invested over 100 million yuan ($13.91 million) to establish its global R&D center in the district. The 20,000 square-meter center features state-of-the-art facilities and a team of more than 200 professionals.

  • The Smart Agricultural Robotics Institute of National Innovation Center par Excellence, Jiangsu's first international agricultural robot R&D center, opened in WND on June 5. The new institute brings AI-driven robots to drive, pick, weed, and more, boosting farm productivity by over 20%.

  • WND recently saw three parks – Wuxi Taihu International Tech Park, Wuxi (Xinwu) LongShine Software Industrial Park, and Wuxi (Xinwu) Aviation and Aerospace Industrial Park – named zero-carbon parks, more than any other area in Wuxi. WND has been pursuing eco-friendly, low-carbon development in recent years and made steady progress toward its carbon peaking and neutrality goals.

  • WND shines in AI innovation! Six local companies were listed among Jiangsu's 2024 top 100 private enterprises for AI invention patents. WND has strengthened its IP chain, achieving over 900 effective AI invention patents.

  • The Jinhe Mansion project constructed by Shanxi CIG City Operation Group in WND's China-EU Industrial Innovation Zone recently won multiple international awards, including the 2025 MUSE Design Awards Gold in residential architectural design, the TITAN Property Awards Gold in architecture, and Platinum in interior design. This showcases the area's world-class urban renewal efforts.

  • Twenty top-tier brands signed on to join M Land, a music park-style commercial center in WND, on May 31. Among them are eight Jiangsu-first and four Wuxi-first stores, which together occupy 40% of the project's area. Centered around the Wuxi Symphony Hall, M Land blends music, culture, art, and commerce to create an immersive and relaxing destination.

  • The design plan for the Xishi Road (Gaolang Road – Wudu Road) renovation project in WND has been released. After the upgrades are completed, this key north-south artery originally built in the early 2000s will ease traffic, reduce commute times, improve road safety, enhance the living environment, and drive industrial development along its route.
