A delegation from Wuxi National Hi-Tech District (WND) recently visited Hungary, the Netherlands, and Spain to deepen international cooperation and promote investment opportunities.
In Budapest, the delegation participated in the Wuxi–Hungary Economic and Trade Cooperation Conference, which drew over 50 Hungarian companies and WND-based international businesses. The group also visited Obuda University and the China International Investment Promotion Center (Hungary).
Several key agreements were signed during the visit. The European R&D center for packaging and testing equipment of Grandtag Electronics is set to be established at the Science Park of Obuda University. Semilab, a Hungarian semiconductor metrology company, also signed a deal to launch a manufacturing base in Wuxi. Additionally, Unicomp Technology inaugurated its European AI R&D Center.
The delegation hosted the 2025 WND–Netherlands Business Cooperation Conference in Amsterdam and promoted WND's investment environment. The team met with several key partners, including KPMG, Nutricia, CTP Group, and Neways Electronics. The Netherlands has become a vital economic partner for WND, with 41 Dutch companies investing in 128 projects in the district.
During their visit to Barcelona, a sub-group of the delegation engaged with Goldfame Enterprises Limited, a design firm affiliated with Zara, to explore opportunities for collaboration in cross-border e-commerce. Additionally, the group held discussions regarding the advancement of partnerships in the auto parts industry with Neklar.
The delegation also attended the Advanced Factories Expo & Congress in Barcelona, focusing on Industry 4.0, smart manufacturing, and digital factories. They engaged with participating companies to explore global technology and industrial development trends and seek cross-sector cooperation opportunities.
