Established in September 2024 in collaboration with UK-based Antobot, the Smart Agricultural Robotics Institute has developed the world's first general-purpose artificial intelligence controller for agricultural robots, known as the uRCU. The full-stack autonomous driving and machine vision system enables farm logistics robots to operate autonomously and coordinate with multiple machines in complex farming settings, improving fruit and vegetable production efficiency by more than 20 percent and easing agricultural labor shortages.

Additionally, crop monitoring robots built on the same platform use high-precision sensors and intelligent systems to automatically monitor crop growth, perceive environmental conditions, and collect data. Their efficient crop identification and growth analysis systems allow accurate assessment of crop health, enabling precise field management and improving farm productivity, workforce efficiency, supply use, logistics, and upstream and downstream order management.
The release of this series of agricultural robots marks a significant step forward for Wuxi and Jiangsu in driving the high-quality development of future industries and enhancing their competitive edge in the global embodied intelligence robotics sector.
