The Vibracoustic Air Spring China Headquarters commenced production in Wuxi National Hi-Tech District, or Xinwu district, Wuxi on March 18.
Vibracoustic strategically introduced its industry-leading air spring project to the China-Europe Industrial Innovation Zone (Meicun sub-district) at the end of 2024 to meet growing market demand. The company plans to establish five to six production lines, with the first line now fully installed and expected annual sales revenue of 300 million yuan ($41.31 million).
Thomas Lefebvre, head of Air Springs Business Unit Asia Pacific, expressed confidence in the Chinese market, stating that with the rapid development of China's automotive industry, more mid-to-high-end vehicles will adopt air spring technology. He emphasized Vibracoustic's commitment to making Wuxi its air spring headquarters and setting a global benchmark in the field.
Vibracoustic (Wuxi) Vibration Isolators is a wholly owned subsidiary of Germany's Freudenberg Group and a leading automotive noise and vibration control engineering company. In 2024, the company achieved sales revenue of 1.4 billion yuan.
