During a meeting on April 22, Cui Rongguo, Party secretary of Xinwu, emphasized that the district is committed to implementing measures to facilitate foreign nationals and providing optimal services and policies to ensure that South Korean companies can successfully construct projects and grow their businesses.

The Xinwu district has attracted over $25 billion in South Korean investment, making it the second-largest recipient of South Korean capital in China. Currently, over 200 South Korean companies have established operations in the district, including key subsidiaries from South Korea's four major conglomerates: Samsung SDI, LG Chem, SK Hynix, and Hyundai Mobis.
