The LongShine Technology Industrial Park (CPU Space) opened in the Wuxi National Hi-tech District on Nov 16.
The industrial park will serve as the headquarters base of LongShine Technology, a digital information service provider. It will be constructed in two phases, with a total investment of about 950 million yuan ($90.74 million), and is planned to cover an area of about 100 mu (6.67 hectares).
The first phase involves 450 million yuan in investment and has already attracted more than 80 enterprises settling in, which have a total registered capital of over three billion yuan. It is estimated these enterprises will make a combined annual revenue of over five billion yuan and pay more than 400 million yuan in tax. The second phase broke ground in March. When the construction is completed, more companies will arrive to help form an industrial ecosystem that involves more than 8,000 people.
It will lead to a headquarters economy agglomeration and promote coordinated development within the industrial ecosystem. The industrial park will also build a digital economy talent training base to push forward the deep integration of industry and digital technologies. It aims to propel the development of Wuxi's industrial digitalization and digital industrialization.
