WND's annual digital economy revenue to exceed 300b yuan

Wuxi Yangtze River Delta Digital Economy Industrial Park, which will have a total area of more than 100,000 square meters, recently started construction in WND.

A total of 30 major scientific and technological innovation projects with an investment of more than 10.8 billion yuan ($1.6 billion) were signed into effect in the park, focusing on software development, integrated circuit design, IoT, big data and other digital economy industries.

The park will be a major player in the entire Yangtze River Delta region and is committed to becoming a leading digital economy park in China.

Data show that in 2021, the revenue of the core industries of the digital economy in WND reached 273.92 billion yuan, accounting for half the city's total digital economy revenue.

From January to April this year, the core industry of digital economy enterprises in the region increased by 12.43 percent year-on-year, and the annual revenue is expected to exceed 300 billion yuan.
