Xinwu district to build more greenbelts

Xinwu district, Wuxi will build 32 vacant lots totaling over 600,000 square meters into greenbelts and parks to improve the living environment, according to local media outlets.

Over 20 kinds of flowers such as daisies, corn poppies, and evening primroses have been planted, which are expected to start blooming in May.

In addition, 120,000 square meters of vacant land at the northeast corner of Taibo Avenue and Xinxi Road will be built into a garden for surrounding residents. Aside from greenbelts that will feature many different varieties of flowers, walking paths and fitness equipment will also be set up.

What's more, over 400 parking lots will be built for people working and living nearby.
