Nine platforms related to the blockchain industry and operated by enterprises based in Wuxi National Hi-tech District were included in a recent announcement to achieve the seventh batch of domestic blockchain information service filing numbers by the Cyberspace Administration of China.
WND has been involved in the blockchain industry since 2014, when Wuxi Jingtum Technology Co and Zhongcheng Smart Technology Co were established. More enterprises involved in the industry were built in the following years.
In 2020, Jiangsu Hwell Technology Co initiated the establishment of the Wuxi Blockchain Industrial Alliance. The alliance currently has 61 member units, among which four enterprises are national blockchain filing enterprises, including Jiangsu Hwell Technology Co, Anhuang Technology Co, Wuxi Jingtum Technology Co, and Zhongcheng Smart Technology Co.
WND has a solid blockchain industrial foundation, and the integration of blockchain and the internet of things is widely used.
In May 2017, China's first Blockchain and IoT Industry Development Summit was held in WND. The Wuxi Software Industry Association Blockchain Professional Committee and the IoT and Blockchain Joint Laboratory were established at the forum.
In September 2017, Jiangsu Hwell Technology Co and the China Electronics Standardization Research Institute released the "Blue Book on the Innovative Application of Blockchain and IoT Integration in China", which was the first such guide to blockchain and IoT integration in China.
