The China Internet of Things International Innovation Park, located in Wuxi National Hi-tech District, has become one of the first provincial-level modern service industry high-quality development agglomeration demonstration zones, according to an announcement released by the Jiangsu Development and Reform Commission on March 2.

The China Internet of Things International Innovation Park was established in June 2009 with the purpose of building an innovation engine for the National Internet of Things Innovation Demonstration Zone. After a decade of development, it has developed into a national leading intelligent sensor professional park, the first national-level professional incubator themed around IoT technology, the first national-level IoT regional brand pilot park, and Asia's best incubator in Jiangsu province.

The park is now home to 1,500 IoT companies and 6,500 high-level talents of various types. In 2021, its total output was valued at 13 billion yuan ($2.04 billion). It has won various honors, including being named the country's first smart sensor professional park and first national IoT regional brand pilot park.
