WND e-commerce industrial park receives provincial title

The Cross-border E-commerce Industrial Park in Wuxi National Hi-tech District Comprehensive Bonded Zone was recently included in the 2021 Jiangsu Provincial Cross-border E-commerce Industrial Parks list.

Established in 2019, the industrial park covers a total area of 2.39 square kilometers. It is home to various key semiconductor companies, such as SK Hynix, Murata Electronics, and Seagate, as well as port joint inspection units like Wuxi Customs.

The park has built a cross-border e-commerce supervision center and a bonded warehouse. It has also transformed its cross-border e-commerce customs clearance supervision site to incorporate smart technology.

Since September 2019, the park has completed Wuxi's first batch of cross-border e-commerce goods export businesses under the "9710" customs supervision code, as well as the province's first batch of cross-border e-commerce bonded export overseas warehouse businesses under the "1210" customs supervision code.

From January to September 2021, the value of "1210" cross-border overseas warehouse exports reached $108 million, highlighting the development of foreign trade in the zone.

At present, more than 20 cross-border e-commerce companies have gathered in the park, including Amazon and JD-Link.
