New foreign language primary school opens in Xinwu

SK Hynix Wuxi Foreign Language Primary School, a new school in Xinwu district, Wuxi, will open to students this autumn, according to an announcement at a launch ceremony on Jan 20.

The school is sponsored by SK Hynix and Shanghai-based World Foreign Language Education Group and will provide students with high-quality educational resources, including courses that are compulsory in China and various elective courses such as pottery, drama, robotics, rock climbing, and baseball.

The school will offer six classes with no more than 25 students per grade.

The 36,000-square-meter school has received over 300 million yuan ($46.4 million) in investment and is located east of Linghu Avenue and south of Qingyan Road. It was built in an environmental-friendly manner and features a library, music classes, dance and drama classes, science labs, a theater, and indoor and outdoor sports areas.
