Wuxi National Hi-tech District (WND) and Inspur Group, a domestic leading company in big data services, signed an agreement to deepen strategic cooperation on July 23.
Inspur Group will invest a total of 1 billion yuan ($142.6 million) to establish a subsidiary in WND to promote the construction of industrial internet platforms, government affairs cloud platforms, data sharing and development platforms, smart cities, credit and innovation industries, as well as information technology industry ecosystems. Their achievements and experiences will be shared and promoted nationwide.
WND Party Secretary Jiang Min attended the signing ceremony and gave an overview on the development of the district's modern industries.
Jiang said that after over 20 years of development, WND has built pillar industry clusters and modern industrial systems in microelectronics, new energy, high-end equipment manufacturing and key components, the internet of things, as well as integrated circuits, which will provide a good industrial foundation and business environment for Inspur Group's new project.
Inspur Group is China's leading cloud computing and big data service provider. In 2019, it ranked 189th among Fortune 500 companies in China.
