Established in 2002, Wuxi Lead Intelligent Equipment Co has become the largest manufacturer of lithium battery intelligent equipment in the world.

After going public in 2015, Wuxi Lead Intelligent Equipment Company became the world's largest producer of lithium batteries, manufacturing about 80 percent of iPhone batteries.

Lithium batteries are now widely used in smartphones, cameras and even electric vehicles. Tesla, the leader in new energy cars, also utilizes lithium batteries produced by Lead's machines.

Though many people may not be familiar with this enterprise, it does cooperate with many giants in the electronics industry, such as Samsung, LG, Panasonic and Sony. The company focuses on developing advanced autonomous production facilities, which is the foundation of predominantly machine-operated workshops.

In July 2018, it began construction of its semiconductor and fuel cell manufacturing base, making it the domestic leader in research and development in this area.
