Five Major Data Centers

China Telecom Data Center

With a total investment of 700 million yuan and a space of 43,730 square meters (140,000 sq m for data center), China Telecom Data Center is the first international Diamond Level (T4) data center in eastern China. Four ChinaNet 10G links in Wuxi International Data Center can be expanded to 160G upon request. The first phase of construction has begun and the second phrase will start soon.

China Mobile Data Center

With a total investment of 1.5 billion yuan ($ 240 million) and construction area of 50,000 square meters, the data center is under construction following the highest level (IV Level) TIA-942 Standards of Infrastructure of Telecommunication for Data Center.

China Unicom Data Center

With a total investment of one billion yuan, China Unicom Data Center Eastern China Base (Wuxi) which includes a 90,000-square-meter Data Operating Center in Eastern China is under construction.

China Internet of Things Cloud Computing Center

With a total investment of 250 billion yuan, China Internet of Things Cloud Computing Center is a joint project by Dawning Information Industry and Wuxi Municipal government in 2010. Upon completion, it will become the main cloud center in Wuxi, including a cloud computing service center, a R & D center, and an engineering and technology center. The center will be put into operation soon.

Jiangsu NGB IOT Research Center

Jiangsu NGB IOT Research Center is an Internet of Things research and development center set up by Jiangsu Broadcasting Cable Information Network in Wuxi, Jiangsu province in August 2010. As a wholly-owned subsidiary of Jiangsu Broadcasting Cable Information Network, Jiangsu NGB IOT Research Center is mainly responsible for developing technology standards and the Internet of things, and new business research. The center will focus on application development for information and media terminals and Internet of Things at home. The center was upgraded to a national level research center in February 2014.
