WND's Party Secretary Wang Jinjian attended the signing ceremony and told attendees that the core area of semiconductor industry in the district, with its integrated circuits, brought in industrial value topping 80 million yuan last year.
Wang urged the project to help promote the efficient and sustainable development of semiconductor industry, and said the government would offer its full support.
Lee Si-chul, president of SEP Engineering Co, said he was glad to see the project settle in WND. He said the company has been treating hazardous waste for leading semiconductor firms, including SK Hynix and Samsung.
Cooperating with Beijing Site Technology Co, the project aims to contribute to the development of the environmental protection industry in WND, Lee said.
