Wuxi trains big data talents for future development

A training course for big data application started in Wuxi National Hi-tech District on Aug 17, with 100 trainees from big data related companies joining the course to enhance their understanding and ability of big data application.

The training course is expected to provide technology and talent support for the deep application of big data in internet of things related industry development.

It is the first of its kind held by the big data fusion innovation center in Wuxi, which was established by the National Engineering Laboratory for Algorithm and Analysis Technologiy on Big Data and Merit Data, a leading company in data analysis.

As a city well-known for the internet of things, industrial internet, and internet of vehicles, Wuxi has a broad market for big data application, and is short of big data talents.

The training is designed to provide both theories and practices that allow the trainees to be equipped with big data solutions in future applications.

The national engineering lab is co-established by Xi'an Jiaotong University, Baidu, Tsinghua University, State Grid Energy Research Institute, Zhongyuan Big Data Research Institute, and Merit Data.

With the lab's R&D results, the innovation center will lay the foundation for high-end big data talent training in Wuxi, as well as improve the ability of big data analysis, algorithmic design and collaborative innovation for the internet of things.
