WND promotes smart sports

The Intellectual Sports Park of Wuxi, founded in 2015, is the first of its kind in China, featuring the integration of internet, internet of things and sports.

"Smart sports allows people to enjoy sports activities wherever and whenever they want," said Zhu Mo, CEO of the Intellectual Sports Park. The park now plays a vital role in intellectual sports development in Wuxi.

The park is home to several incubation platforms to help famous sports enterprises and R&D institutions to settle in WND from both at home and abroad, aiming to promote high-tech sports in Wuxi.

A total of 63 enterprises have settled in the park to operate sports events, develop technological sports products, and provide AR and VR experiences. A business fund has also been set up to help high-tech sports start-ups.

Several agreements have been signed between the park and worldwide universities, including Florida International University, University of Michigan and Georgia Institute of Technology, aiming to train more talents on smart sports.
