Established in 1996, Infineon Technologies (Wuxi) Co., located in the Wuxi New District (WND), Jiangsu province, is an overseas subsidiary of Infineon Technologies, a German company which specializes in semiconductors and system solutions for automotive and industrial electronics.

Located in the Wuxi-Singapore Industrial Park, the company mainly engages in producing discrete semiconductor devices and smart card chip. With a total investment of about $300 million, it has employed nearly 1,700 employees by the end of 2014.
