Xinwu Wanda Plaza to open in 2020

The launching ceremony of Xinwu Wanda Plaza was held in Wuxi Taihu International Tech-Park, Xinwu district, on May 17.

Xinwu Party Secretary Wang Jinjian, the district's Director Feng Xiaochun, and Wanda's Deputy Chairman Yu Xiuyang attended the ceremony.

The to-be-built plaza, with an investment of 1.08 billion yuan ($156.4 million) by Chinese business conglomerate Wanda Group, will cover an area of 47,700 square meters, including four floors above ground and two underground floors.

During the ceremony, the governors said they will give full support to the project. Communication and coordination with relative departments on implementation of the project will allow for smooth development.

The large-scale commercial building will support the commercial and living environment in Xinwu district and promote more investment in the district. It is expected to open at the end of July 2020.
