Flash mob event welcomes 2018 WIOT

A flash mob video filmed on Wuxi's subway to welcome the upcoming 2018 World Internet of Things Expo was released on Aug 20.

The video, "WIOT is coming! Let's Go", was made by the organizing committee office of the 2018 World IoT Expo and two Wuxi musicians, Du Yichao and Xiao Sita, together with a group of students and musicians.

Du, founder of Dotown Company, a cultural and innovative enterprise headquartered in Wuxi, wrote theme songs in the Wuxi dialect for last year's World IoT Expo. He has also celebrated the city's achievements over the past year with other original songs.

One of the highlights of this year's theme song of the World Internet of Things Expo is its creative changes from an original template. Based on traditional nursery rhymes, the song creates a more refreshing feeling for listeners by changing the familiar original rhythms.

The World IoT Expo 2018 will take place in Wuxi in mid-September.
