Senior management of Keppel Corp visits Wuxi

Huang Qin, acting mayor of Wuxi, met with Loh Chin Hua, executive director and CEO of Keppel Corporation in Wuxi on August 14. The two leaders had an in-depth discussion on cooperation expansion.

Wuxi is located in the geometric center of the Yangtze River Delta and is positioned as a national integrated transportation hub city.

Wuxi is currently accelerating construction of hub facilities such as roads, railways, airports and ports, and actively expanding the business of Sunan Shuofang International Airport.

"The 2018 High-level Talent Innovation and Entrepreneurship Conference is being held in Wuxi, and a number of experts and academicians from home and abroad are attracted. More preferential policies will be formulated to draw top talents to settle in Wuxi in the near future," said Huang.

"Wuxi has great market vitality and development space. We welcome enterprises like Keppel Corporation with rich experience to invest and develop in Wuxi. Services of high quality and efficiency will be provided to these companies," Huang added.

Loh briefly introduced Keppel's development program. Keppel has actively transformed and upgraded in recent years, adjusted its development orientation and provided sustainable urbanization solutions to clients.

With deep experience and advantages in infrastructure construction, new energy development, environmental protection and big data center operations, Keppel is willing to share its good experience and practices, and to contribute to smart city construction and comprehensive urban development in Wuxi, said Loh.
